While it may be true that the path to a man’s heart starts from his stomach, this is a universal truth in the case of dogs. If you give him the right, balanced, nutritious meals he needs, he’ll grow healthy, strong and happy. On the other hand, deprive him from these or feed him something nasty and you’ll find a gooey surprise on the carpet or in your shoe. Now if you want to protect your dog and give her a culinary treat courtesy of your kitchen, here are five recipes you should definitely try.
Rather than sharing your own pancakes with your pooch, cook up a stack just for her using the following recipe.
1 cup buckwheat flour
4 tbsp. corn flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. milk
1 cup buttermilk
1 large egg
Mix all the ingredients until they’re smooth and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Heat a small amount of butter and cook each pancake for around a minute on each side.
Let them cool down before serving them to your hungry puppy.
What makes this recipe great is that you too can have it. Just add 4 tbs. of sugar to the mixture and you’ll both bond over breakfast.
