Ariel grew up in a small town in Narrows VA and moved to Florida when she was 13. Growing up in Virginia, Ariel always had dogs, the majority of which were hunting dogs, though some were pets. No matter the occasion whether it was out hunting or just hanging around her house she enjoyed having a dog around for most of her early life.
Currently Ariel has a Belgian Malinois puppy named Nike who she loves to train, go on long walks with, play fetch and of course, Nike's favorite, playing tug.
Ariel's everyday passion for training her dog became something that she wanted to share with others. So she started training dogs. She quickly learned however that she couldn't fix most of the serious behavior issues through the typical methods available from most trainers. Her passion to help owners fix real behavioral challenges lead her to Sam Ivy K9 Consultants.
Upon working with the Sam Ivy team she learned quickly what real training with real results were. Ariel has trained directly under Sam Ivy and Bradley Bourque and is certified in Proper Pack Behavior, Basic to Advanced Obedience, Off-Leash and Service Dog Training. She's currently on track to promotion from Trainer to Team Trainer early 2017.
Outside of work, Ariel likes to take long walks with her dog Nike, workout in the gym, play volleyball, hang out with her friends, eat cookies and most importantly, make people laugh. Above all, her balance between her strong personality and compassion brings a firm dynamic to training dog owners how to enjoy their dog as the companion they visualized from the beginning. With that balance Ariel is able to relate on a personal level while still leading each individual to their end goal of creating the ultimate canine companion in their dogs.
